With our online order system you can register for the Dance Camp and order tickets for the evening events, RTSF CDs, and T-shirts . You can book each evening and Dance Camp day separately. NEW: Electronic tickets for evenings
This year we will for the first time have electronic tickets for the evenings. The tickets will be sent per e-mail about a week before the event. Alternativeley, you can login to the order system and download them. You can print the tickets or show them on your phone. Dance Camp particiants still need to pick up their wrist bands at the check-in.
Be aware of ticket fraud and phishing websites!
Electronic tickets can be resold like the old paper tickets, but if a ticket is maliciously or accidently sold to multiple people, only the first ticket scanned will be eligible for entry. If you don't know the people that you are buying from we recommend that you rather have a complete order transferred to you, which is controlled by our order system and can't be done more than one time. We are working on a system that allows safe transfer of single tickets, but it is not easy and we don't know if we will be able to complete it in time.
Scammers also try to trick customers into buying tickets that they don't have. If someone offers you tickets on facebook or other social media check first their account. If the person isn't member for a long time, didn't do many posts, doesn't have a lot of friends, or you don't have any dance friends in common, it is most likely a scam account. Second ask them for the order number and buyer name. If they can't give it to you it is 100% fraud. If they offer an electronic ticket before Feb 1st it is a scam, too. Don't pay anything before the order is transferred.
Be aware of phishing websites!
Scammers use Google search ads or social media posts to trick customers into visiting fake websites such as "rockthatswing2024.com" and then paying the scammers. Important, we do not use PayPal. Scammers often try to use “PayPal me” because it does not offer buyer protection.
So be careful when you click on Google search links or links in emails and social media. Always make sure the web address is rockthatswing.com or rockthatswing.de. The best is to enter rockthatswing.com directly in the address bar of your browser and not into a Google search field (see wikipedia: phishing).
If you see anything suspicious please report it to us.
Waiting lists
We don't have a waiting list for evenings that are sold out! In previous years some tickets were sold right before the festival by other participants that were prevented to come last-minute. If you are looking for tickets or would like to sell some, you can drop by the Check-In during the festival quite early.
Group Orders
With regular or group orders for 10 or more tickets for the same evening or 10 or more Dance Camp
passes (independent of booked days), you will receive a 10% discount on these
purchases.
To take advantage of group discounts you can create a group at the online order system and invite other
people. The invited people have 10 days from the start of the group to place their orders by using the
group ID. After the 10 days the group will be closed automatically, the discounts given, and an updated
order confirmation and payment request sent to the group members. Each group member will get an own
invoice and is responsible for his/her own payment.
IMPORTANT: Group discounts are a reward for those who manage to organize a (local) group. We hope you
understand that we can't afford to offer group discounts if you publish group passwords on public
social media sites (Facebook, Twitter etc) or in mass newsletters. If we are aware of such misuse group
discounts will not be granted for the members of that group.
Cancellation Policy
Due to German law online ticket bookings are final. The German Distance Selling Act allows a two week
revocation period, but according to § 312b Paragraph 3 Nr. 6 BGB it is not applicable for ticket sales
or camp bookings.
However we allow you to cancel your whole booking. Depending on the date of cancellation different
cancellation fees will apply:

If there are any tickets left, they will be sold during the festival at the Check-In or at the evening event box office.
Tickets for Saturday and Sunday evening are also available at the known public booking offices like München Ticket, Zentraler Kartenvorverkauf, and directly at the Deutsches Theater. Those public booking offices are an additional option intended for locals who normally just come to one of the big events.
If you place an order the order is binding and oblidge payment. The German Distance Selling Act allows a two week revocation period, but according to § 312b Paragraph 3 Nr. 6 BGB it is not applicable for ticket sales or camp bookings. So by law all online ticket bookings are final.
